Market activity

August 2026 sales, new listings, active listings and benchmark prices come from the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board August 2026 statistics package, Mission municipal table. The comparison uses its Abbotsford municipal table. MLS® and HPI are marks associated with their respective owners.

Benchmark price is a modelled price of a representative home, not the average or median price of homes sold that month. Month-end active listings are a stock; sales and new listings cover the month.

Calculated values

Annual change = current benchmark ÷ prior-year benchmark − 1. The sales-to-active ratio = monthly sales ÷ active listings at month-end. Combined counts add the three listed property types; they are not a separately published FVREB Mission total.

Small monthly sales counts can make ratios volatile. We do not publish neighbourhood-specific benchmark estimates from the municipality-level table. The history page uses five selected observations, not a complete monthly series. FVREB may revise older HPI values; figures printed in an older package may differ from a later restated series. Housing targets

The City of Mission's provincial housing target page states the five-year target and first-year result. Its first-year progress report identifies completions and demolitions. The housing-target reporting period differs from the MLS reporting month.
